It used to be that some wedding officiants wouldn't give you a final quote until after you had given them a down payment and consented to sign a contract. We're proud to say that MarriageToGo.Com was among the first to post rates and fees on the web to better serve the public--happily, another much-imitated policy, since you the consumer benefit. Due to increased demand for our high-quality services, we have recently restructured our rates and services to better reflect the time, energy, and technology we bring to the table creating a better wedding experience for you.
With MarriageToGo, there are no lengthy contracts and no hidden costs. Your fee is finalized up front and you receive a written service agreement detailing precisely what services you'll receive for your money. With a $100 non-refundable retainer your ceremony time will be reserved! You can even pay for some or all of your fee with your bank balance or credit card online at PayPal.Com. We try to make planning your wedding simple, honest, and convenient without a lot of extra paperwork.

EXPLANATION OF RATES AND SERVICES

In determining your rate, we'll ask these questions:
What do you need: ceremony officiation, marriage licensing, or both?
Where is the ceremony taking place? Travel fees apply outside of the Santa Monica/West Los Angeles area.
When: weekend, weekday, or holiday? Weekends and holidays are popular and usually book far in advance, so they cost more due to increased demand.
How many guests will be attending? A larger event means a greater time commitment both for ceremony preparation and during the ceremony day.
Are you having a rehearsal on a different day?
Remember: to be legally married you must first obtain a marriage license, then have it solemnized (that is, have a ceremony) within 90 days of license issuance. We offer a "Wedding Bundle" rate if you use MarriageToGo for both licensing and officiation.

THE WEDDING BUNDLE
Confidential marriage licensing and a custom or civil ceremony. Our most popular offering!

You must qualify for the California confidential marriage license to receive this service; you can read the requirements here.

The L.A. County Clerk's office requires disclosure of license fees: confidential marriage licenses cost $85, public licenses are $90. It is less expensive to obtain your own marriage licenses at a Clerk's office, but many couples prefer the convenience of confidential marriage licensing at their chosen time and location.
Standard Wedding Bundle--marriage licensing, civil or custom ceremony, twenty guests or more in attendance: $575 weekdays/$650 Fri-Sat-Sun
Wedding Bundle, Small Wedding (fewer than ten guests): $525 weekdays/$600 Fri-Sat-Sun
Wedding Bundle "Just Us" (bride and groom only, civil or custom ceremony, no guests/signatory witnesses only): $475 weekdays/$550 Fri-Sat-Sun
Rates for all Wedding Bundles include: L.A. County confidential marriage license fee ($85); notarizations for license and certificate requests; ceremony (solemnization); and document/certificate orders after your ceremony, so you don't have to worry about paperwork on your wedding day.
Travel time and mileage surcharges apply for locations more than 10 miles from our Westside location, and vary from $15 to $100 dollars for ceremonies within L.A. County. We cannot issue your marriage license if your ceremony takes place outside of L.A. County, but we'd be happy to provide our custom ceremony officiation services for you; please request a travel quote for ceremonies outside the L.A. area.
Holidays, short notice/emergency service (less than 72 hours notice), or a surly attitude will incur up to a 100% surcharge.
Additional fees may be required to cover expenses for out-of-area travel and lodging or unusual requests (like skydiving), admissions, or theme costuming. More elaborate ceremonies may be slightly higher depending on time involved.

CEREMONY OFFICIATION RATES
Custom or standard civil ceremonies for those who have obtained their own marriage licenses, or for those re-enacting their vows. We can preside as a non-denominational, interfaith, or non-religious officiant at your wedding anywhere in California. We'll can help you create a unique wedding ceremony to your specifications; we also perform custom commitment and vow renewal ceremonies, as well as standard civil ceremonies on short-notice.
Standard Ceremony Officiation--custom ceremony, twenty guests or more: $500 weekdays/$550 Fri-Sat-Sun
Officiation, Small Wedding rate--custom ceremony, up to ten guests: $425 weekdays/$500 weekends
Officiation "Just Us" (bride and groom only, civil or custom ceremony, signatory witnesses only): $375 weekdays/$450 Fri-Sat-Sun
All officiation rates include: ceremony; officiant signatures; and document handling/certificate requests after your ceremony so you don't have to worry about paperwork on your wedding day.
We offer a Wedding Bundle rate if you use MarriageToGo for both licensing and officiation (L.A. County only.)

CONFIDENTIAL MARRIAGE LICENSING SERVICES (Los Angeles County only):

Confidential marriage licensing at your chosen location, no guests: $350 weekday/$400 Fri-Sat-Sun
Administrative ceremony (no vows or ceremonial elements) or standard civil ceremony to solemnize license at the same time as licensing, no guests: $450 weekday/$500 Fri-Sat-Sun
All license issuance services include: $85 County Clerk marriage license fee, notarizations of license signatures and certificate request forms, proprietary MTG marriage license info sheets, and delivery fee.
Public licenses CANNOT be obtained though authorized notaries; they may be purchased at any California County Clerk's office and cost $90.
Licensing/civil ceremonies with guests in attendance are charged at a higher rate.
We offer a Wedding Bundle rate if you use MarriageToGo for both your licensing and officiation.

THE HOME OFFICE HOUR--PRIVATE ELOPEMENTS
Our solar-powered Home Office on the Westside of L.A. is available for elopement ceremonies with four guests or fewer. Click here for more info, photos, and seasonal special offers. Holiday bookings are available at a higher rate.
The $425 all-inclusive "Home Office Hour" at our cozy and private Mar Vista location includes the L.A. County Clerk's confidential marriage license fee ($85), standard non-religious civil ceremony, officiation, post-ceremony document handling/certificate requests, and tea and cookies.
If you've obtained your own license, our $350 "Home Office Officiation" includes officiation of your civil ceremony, post-ceremony document handling and certificate requests, and tea/cookies.
Holidays are available on a limited basis and at a higher rate, and custom ceremonies available for an additional fee.
Like all private sites, there are guidelines and some restrictions. Please call or email us for more information, recent photos, and availability.
Public licenses CANNOT be obtained though authorized notaries; they may be purchased at the County Clerk's office and cost $90.

HOLIDAY RATES AND AVAILABILITY
If you'd like to inquire about a holiday wedding at either the Home Office or your chosen location, please call or email early for availability!
A 50% non-refundable retainer is required to confirm a holiday booking.
Holiday Home Office Hour (with licensing) $600, Holiday Home Office Officiation-Only (couple provides license) $500.
Holiday rates at your location: Fees start at $750 for officiation only. Rates vary depending on the popularity of a date; we restrict our availability to ensure the best possible service so appointment times may be limited. Please ask for a quote.
Licensing services include the L.A. County Clerk's $85 confidential marriage license fee. Public licenses may be obtained at the County Clerk's office ONLY and cost $90.
